Man Hours With Early Warning

Catch the overrun while there’s still time to fix it.
Production

You bid every job in man hours. Then the shop builds it, and the hours come back on a timesheet at the end of the week as one total. By then you can't tell which stage ate the time, or whether the job drifted past its estimate.

Building Swell puts the hours on the work as it happens. Crews check in and start the stage they're on, their timesheets fill in on their own, and every order shows man hours spent against the estimate, stage by stage. Early warning flags a stage that's burning time faster than it moves, early in the job instead of at closeout.
